Futures Conference provides Canada’s largest annual development opportunity for professionals working with young people seeking employment. A three-day event, the conference brings together over 375 delegates from youth employment counselling centres, colleges, the private and public sectors, as well as other community-based organizations. The team-building and networking opportunities offered at Futures renew and revitalize your work, enhance your career skills, and strengthen your organizational teams.

Learn from our experienced facilitators in over 40 workshops offered at the conference.

Take part in some of our many interactive, team-building workshops that allow you to share and learn with your fellow delegates.

We offered pre-conference seminar videos on topics which were further explored at Futures: Employer Engagement and the role of the Canada-Ontario Jobs Grant. These videos went online starting Tuesday, March 24th and were made available exclusively to registrants for one week until Tuesday, March 31st.

This year’s Futures Conference featured:

  • Engaging team-building activities, fun social events, and over 40 workshops including participatory learning and panel discussions that inspired delegates to keep creating positive change in their own communities.
  • Inspiring and educational keynote speakers who left delegates laughing and learning.
  • The annual National Innovation Awards, showcasing youth employment practices nationwide.
  • Networking opportunities with youth-serving agencies from across the province, including many government ministries and departments.
