This training program will provide managers with the key skills required to build organizational capacity in job placement and to develop staff skills and motivation. First Work will be running two 2-day training sessions in London and Toronto, and registration is online.

New and veteran employment service managers will learn to plan for, measure and support job developers and job development efforts. Learn how to be both proactive and reactive in selling to employers and in planning initiatives for immediate action and future growth.

Through the techniques discussed in this training, managers can look to increase their organization’s:

• rate of successful employment outcomes;
• level of customer satisfaction;
• efficiency and effectiveness utilizing limited agency resources.

The training is applicable to large and small organizations; urban, rural and remote communities; and is responsive to clients with various employment needs.The sessions will take place:

• February 15-16, 2012 in London, Ontario at the Best Western Plus Lamplighter Inn
• February 22-23, 2012 in Toronto, Ontario at the Novotel Toronto North York

Registration is available online. Be sure to register soon, as space is limited and the sessions are filling quickly. The registration fee is only $275, the special Employment Ontario price. Registration is $550 for those not a part of Employment Ontario.
