Employment Programs for Youth
Employment programs help people get work and stay employed. Some of the ways programs can help are: workshops and skills training, job search assistance, and wage subsidies for employers (to help them hire and train more youth).
Many companies and government departments have their own internship programs for hiring and training youth. Be sure to speak to your youth employment counsellor to find out what programs are available to you locally so you can get the job you want!
